Andrew C. Petersen left his home in Denmark for better opportunities in America. He began peddling milk on the streets of Hartford in 1913 and over the next 60 years built one of the most popular businesses in Greater Hartford.

1921- Acquires 238-248 Park Road and begins processing Mille into retail dairy products
1928-Andrew C Petersen purchases the King Farm located on the current site of Duffy School
1929- Andrew C. Petersen purchases the Duffy Farm at 208 North Main Street in West Hartford
